{"id":92,"date":"2009-03-23T12:00:56","date_gmt":"2009-03-23T20:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chorpie.net\/?p=92"},"modified":"2009-03-23T22:56:37","modified_gmt":"2009-03-24T06:56:37","slug":"leaning-pine-arboretum-cal-poly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.chorpie.net\/?p=92","title":{"rendered":"Leaning Pine Arboretum @ Cal Poly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yongpong\/3380806087\/in\/set-72157615832301912\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"California Poppies in bloom\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3636\/3380806087_6b6f683403_d.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Took a trip to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leaningpinearboretum.calpoly.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leaning Pine Arboretum<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calpoly.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Cal Poly&#8217;s<\/a> campus. \u00a0Its out by the sheep. \u00a0It was really nice, even though I went mid-day some of the pics turned out not half bad. \u00a0This would be a great place to visit for anyone who enjoys flowers\/plants and there were tons of birds there, if not visible at least audible. \u00a0It sounds like a jungle!<\/p>\n<p>From the Leaning Pine website:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre>Collections are arranged primarily by nativity and feature a\u00a0<\/pre>\n<pre>diverse array of trees, shrubs, and other landscape plants\u00a0<\/pre>\n<pre>appropriate for California's Central Coast area.
