Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L

Recently got this beast of a lens, once you go L – its hard to want to shoot anything else! Image clarity is superb although this lens adds another 2 pounds to the weight of the camera. No Image Stabilizer, but with f/2.8 its all good – wouldn’t want this lens to get any heavier …

Got my BG-E2N battery grip for my camera this afternoon – stoked!  It came with two extra batteries and a charger.  Canon says you should get 2000 shots from two batteries installed in the grip, and I really doubt that i’ll hit 4000 shots before being able to recharge, but we’ll see. DIY speedstrap

Basically a glorified cloth strap that velcroes to itself with fuzzy zide velcro on the outside… You can use it to wrap around your flash head and attach accessories to the top/sides, like earrings, mustaches, etc. Saved me $10 and cost less that $1 to make!

DIY Ringflash
